Ben Kjar

Ben Kjar was born with Crouzons syndrome, and from a young age was told he’d live a different life—and he’s proven that in the best way. He chose to become a victor, not a victim, and went on to become Utah Valley University’s first-ever NCAA Division 1 Wrestling All-American.

At 40, Ben represented the USA at the World Championships in Greece, becoming a Greco-Roman World Champion and earning silver in Freestyle. Today, he’s an international speaker who has inspired millions, and his award-winning film STANDOUT: The Ben Kjar Story hits theaters January 23, 2026. Ben and his wife, LaCol, are also proud parents of three young adopted children.
