Our Faith Integration

We believe that all truth is spiritual, and we strive to recognize God’s hand in subjects like Science, History, and Geography. Because these subjects naturally explore God’s creations and His dealings with humanity, they serve as our Integrated Studies, where we explicitly weave in gospel connections and character development.

In contrast, our Academic Core (Math and Language Arts) focuses on the daily habits of mastering fundamental skills. While taught in a faith-centered environment, these courses emphasize the rigorous practice required to build the academic building blocks students need to communicate with clarity, think logically, and fulfill their divinely appointed missions in the future.

INTEGRATED STUDIES CURRICULUM

2026-27 CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

For the 2026-27 school year, our Integrated Studies curriculum will feature History, Science, Geography (half-year), Leadership (half-year), and either Art & Music (Phase 1) or Electives (Phase 2). To keep students engaged, these subjects are taught on a rotating two-week schedule. Throughout each course, students will complete step-by-step, application-based projects designed to encourage independent learning and hands-on application.

Let’s explore the powerful forces that shape our planet. In this Earth Science adventure, students journey deep beneath Earth’s surface to discover shifting tectonic plates, towering mountains, erupting volcanoes, and the rocks that record Earth’s history. They will investigate earthquakes and tsunamis, dive into the mysteries of the oceans, and uncover the hidden world beneath the waves. Students will also become weather explorers as they study clouds, storms, climate, and the dynamic atmosphere that surrounds our planet. Along the way, they will see how Earth’s systems work together to shape the landscapes, environments, and natural events that influence life on our incredible planet.

Get ready to explore the wild and wonderful continent of North America! From the icy tundra of the Arctic to the tropical rainforests of Central America, students will journey through towering mountains, vast deserts, and vibrant cities. Along the way they will encounter ancient civilizations, Indigenous cultures, famous landmarks, and the stories that shaped three nations. Students will discover unique foods, traditions, wildlife, sports, and innovations that make North America extraordinary. This course invites young explorers to uncover the landscapes, cultures, and adventures that make this continent a place of incredible diversity and discovery.

Step inside the pages of the stories that shaped a nation. In American Classics, young readers embark on a literary journey through the heart and soul of the American experience. From the whimsical tall tales of the frontier to the timeless novels and poetry that define our heritage, students will encounter the heroes, pioneers, and dreamers who found their voices in the New World. Along the way, they’ll discover the power of virtue, the beauty of language, and the enduring values that connect us all. This course invites students to not just read history, but to live it through the eyes of the characters and authors who helped build the American spirit.

Step into the fast-moving story of modern America—an era of world wars, daring courage, and rapid change. Students investigate the causes and consequences of World War I, World War II, and the Great Depression, then enter the high-stakes Cold War world of spies, nuclear tension, and the Space Race. They explore the fight for civil rights, the challenges of discrimination, and the power of leaders and everyday heroes. Finally, students confront the modern global age—from 9/11 to the internet, social media, and artificial intelligence—asking what it means to lead, build, and seek unity in a connected world.

Middle schoolers, get ready to step into the world of real business. In this hands-on entrepreneurship course, students become problem-solvers, creators, and business owners as they identify real needs and design practical solutions. Each student launches and operates their own Income Generating Activity (IGA), learning how to attract customers, market ideas, manage money, and make smart decisions. Along the way, students develop leadership, financial literacy, negotiation skills, and the discipline needed to grow something from an idea into a functioning business. By the end of the course, students won’t just understand how businesses work—they will have built, run, and improved one themselves.
