2026–27 Integrated Studies Curriculum
Our Integrated Studies curriculum (grades 3 – 8) is a masterfully crafted experience designed by our team of talented Instructional Designers, many of whom hold advanced degrees and years of specialized experience in education. By combining this professional-grade design with real-time human connection, we ensure your child receives an education that is as academically rigorous and engaging as it is meaningful for your family’s faith.
Geography of North America
Step into the stories that shaped a nation. In American Classics, students embark on a literary journey through the heart of the American experience—from whimsical frontier tall tales to timeless novels and poetry. They’ll encounter the heroes, pioneers, and dreamers who defined our heritage while discovering the power of virtue and the beauty of language. This course invites students to not just read history, but to live it through the voices that built the American spirit.
Business & Entrepreneurship
Launch your own business in this hands-on entrepreneurship course. Students identify real-world needs and design practical solutions, operating their own Income Generating Activity (IGA) from the ground up. Along the way, they’ll master financial literacy, marketing, and leadership skills. This isn’t just a class on how businesses work; it’s an opportunity for students to build, run, and grow a venture of their own (grades 6 – 8).
Earth Science
Explore the powerful forces that shape our world. In this Earth Science adventure, students journey from the Earth’s core to the edge of the atmosphere. They’ll discover tectonic plates and volcanoes, dive into ocean mysteries, and become weather explorers. Along the way, students will uncover how Earth’s dynamic systems work together to create the landscapes and environments that sustain life.
Geography of North America
Explore the wild and wonderful continent of North America! From Arctic tundras to tropical rainforests, students will journey through towering mountains, vast deserts, and vibrant cities. This course invites young explorers to discover the unique traditions, wildlife, and innovations that make North America a place of incredible diversity.
Modern US History
Dive into the fast-paced story of modern America—from the front lines of World War II to the frontiers of the Space Race. Students will explore the leaders and everyday heroes who shaped the 20th century, navigated the Cold War, and fought for civil rights. Texas families may use TEFA private school funding toward enrollment in AHS Worldwide’s accredited full-time online private school program for grades 3–12.
AHS Worldwide is also applying to be an approved marketplace vendor which, when approved, will allow families using homeschool funding to purchase our part-time program or other supplemental courses.
No. TEFA funding is administered through the Texas Education Freedom Account program and Odyssey platform. AHS Worldwide participates as an approved private school option for eligible Texas families.
Yes. AHS Worldwide participates as an approved private school provider for eligible TEFA families. And we are currently applying as a marketplace vendor.
Texas families must complete their private school selection in the Odyssey portal by June 1 to be eligible to use those funds. Private schools will then have until June 15 to confirm the enrollment.
Because AHS Worldwide tuition is intentionally designed to remain affordable (for example, just under $5,000 for grades 3-8 full-time online private school), families with the $10,000+ award can still retain thousands of TEFA dollars for other approved educational expenses that can benefit your child’s learning (including approved tutoring, technology, therapies, and extracurriculars).
American Heritage Worldwide is an accredited K-12 school. However, our full-time online options that qualify for private school are available for grades 3-8.
We are applying to also be an approved marketplace vendor. That way, if you are choosing homeschool funding designation, or have a child in grades K-2, there will be options for you as well once we are approved.
