AHS Worldwide is excited to present the 2nd Annual Youth Summer Retreat on August 8th–11th, 2022! There’s something really special about this experience. It was a huge success last year, and we have many plans to make it even better this year. Come join us for the youth retreat they’ll be talking about for years to come, filled with fun and meaningful activities, amazing presenters, great food, and friends, friends, friends! We are so excited to be with you, again!

Colleen Terry Scoresby

Colleen Terry Scoresby has been teaching full-time for Seminaries and Institutes since 1994. About 15 of those years she taught at Utah Valley University Institute. She has been a speaker for BYU’s Youth and Family Programs including EFY, which is the old FSY, for over 25 years. She served a mission in the Michigan Lansing Mission and then taught at the Missionary Training Center for four years while attending BYU. She has a master’s degree in Education and loves teaching. She has a strong belief in the youth of today and loves helping them prepare for their amazing future!

David Butler

David Butler’s greatest love is people. He had adopted as a life motto: “Stuff no mattah, people mattah.” His favorite people are his wife, Jenny, and their six darling children. Some of his other loves include good food, spontaneous adventures, checking things off his bucket list, Christmas morning, and the sea. David cohosts the popular YouTube scripture study channel Don’t Miss This with Emily Belle
Freeman and is the author of several books–both of which are bucket list items he has checked off.

Angela Johnson

Angela Johnson is a self taught sculptor who began sculpting in her late thirties after twenty-five years of vocal performance. Her
Christian faith is the core of her life and her artistic depictions of Jesus Christ, her life’s work. She frequently states, “Nothing fascinates me more than what Jesus Christ can do with a soul.” Angela has sculpted many private commissions, like the Light of the World Statues at the Ashton Gardens (which she’ll be giving us a personal tour of). She is now creating a massive depiction of Lehi’s Vision of the Tree of Life to go next to it. Angela has four children and 20 grandchildren. Her studio is located in Highland, Utah.

Ben Knowlton

Ben Knowlton enjoys skiing, golfing, bicycling, listening to audio books, and singing karaoke. He lives in Springville Utah and has 5 grandchildren. He has worked for many years at Education Week and at EFY. A few years ago he helped developed BYU’s youth Habits for Life camp; based on Sean Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. He has taught Religion classes at BYU as well as classes at the Utah Valley Institute of Religion. He has also taught Seminary at various high schools in Utah County for many years.
